Our family headed to Madison a couple times to see the legislative process in action. Well Monday Gov. Doyle finally signed the bill to save our kids school and offer others a chance to soar in this wonderful opportunity. Here are a few articles to follow..

I realize this blog is older but I couldn't let it pass without comment. It is SOOOO important for our young generation to get a first hand look at the legislative process and learn that they are also a part of that. With the elections now behind us, my girls and I still talk regularly about it. They learned a lot in school and even more from their active mommy and daddy. Kudos to you! I think I shall follow your lead and take the girls there myself. Should be interesting to see the different issues faced here in Hawaii! ~ Tonja
